Last minutes

Despite the gentleness of this image, it tells a completely different story than that of a peaceful river in the middle of a clearing. A few hours after this photo was taken, an unprecedented storm broke out, the sound of thunder still etched in my memory, as our tent was pitched on the summit of the highest hill in the area.
